Every claim opens its sources. That is the promise. This page is the rulebook behind it.

What gets published

Newzy.tech covers South Asian politics, geopolitics, and technology policy. Stories are written for readers who want the record, not a team. The site takes sides with the evidence, and with nobody else.

How a story gets checked

  • Primary documents come first: court orders, government notifications, election records, official statements.
  • Every claim traces to at least 1 independent source. Contested claims get more.
  • Quotes are copied word for word and linked. They are never cleaned up, shortened, or stitched together.
  • Anonymous claims are flagged as anonymous or left out.
  • Numbers are checked against the original record. Tables name where their figures come from.
  • Photos are credited. If an image’s origin cannot be established, it does not run.

If a fact cannot be checked, it does not get printed.

What counts as a source

The list at the bottom of every story links outlet names to the exact article pages used. Homepages, roundups, and other people’s summaries are not sources. Every link is there so you can open it, read it, and rebuild the story yourself.

Opinion is labeled

Reporting and verdict sit in separate sections. The Said plainly section is an argument built on the checked facts above it, and it spares no side. Disagree with the verdict and the record underneath still stands.

When we get it wrong

Errors get fixed inside the story, not quietly deleted. The wrong line is struck. The fix is written in. The update stamp changes. Every fix is logged on the Corrections page with the date and the story. A correction you cannot find is not a correction.

Tools

Software can speed up a draft. It cannot verify a fact. Every quote, number, and link is checked by the editor against the original source before publishing. Tools type. Verification is human.

Money and independence

Newzy.tech is independent. No sponsored post runs without a clear label. No government, party, or company gets to review a story before it goes out. No one sees a story early except the sources in it.
