Who I Am
I am an independent analyst and digital content creator. I do not do this as a newsroom job. I do it because South Asian politics, technology policy, and the fight over who controls information deserve slower, harder, better-checked reading than the daily scroll gives them.
What Newzy Stands For
Information is polluted and everyone claims neutrality while selling a line. Newzy runs on plainer rules:
- Checked facts: every claim traced to at least 1 independent source, usually several
- Labeled opinion: reporting and verdict stay in separate sections, so you always know which one you are reading
- Fair to no tribe: the same questions get asked of governments, oppositions, platforms, and crowds
- Updated, not abandoned: articles carry posted and updated dates and get corrected as new verified facts arrive
- Open method: sources named in the piece, so you can check my work yourself
How I Work
Each story is read against several outlets before a word is written. Official statements, court and election records, and on-record quotes carry the most weight. Anonymous claims get flagged as such or left out. When new verified facts arrive, the article is updated and the updated date at the top changes with them. When I got something wrong, the fix goes into the piece, not into silence.

A Note on Opinion
You will find plain-spoken verdict sections in these articles. They are arguments built on the checked facts above them, and they spare no side. Disagree with one and you will still find the underlying record intact, which is exactly the point.
The Future of News
Verification keeps getting harder as synthetic media spreads, and the job of checking will keep getting more technical. Newzy will keep doing it the slow way: read everything, trust little, show the receipts.
